Warhammer 40K: Vashtorr The Arkifane Revealed

Games Workshop shows off a power from the Warp. Meet Vashtorr the Arkifane.

There was a lot of excitement for the Warhammer Preview Online and GW did not disappoint. There’s a new (old) force in the warp that is making its presence felt in real space. The Arkifane is coming.

Vashtorr The Arkifane

Described as a dem-god of the Warp, Vashtorr is a warp creature made manifest. This entity serves no one Chaos God — in fact, it has ambitions to become one of its own! Born of the collective creative psychic energies that coalesced in the warp Vashtorr the Arkifane is somewhat of an arms dealer of Chaos. You can see from the design that Vashtorr is the kind of “thing” that inspires the Chaos Engines.

A creature that blends both flesh and metal. A spawn of the warp that serves no Chaos God. Vashtorr is something new…or maybe something old. This demi-god doesn’t represent a daemon prince with mechanical parts — the Arkifane is something new. And he’s got a friend in Abaddon…(well as friendly as you can be with Abaddon). Maybe workplace acquaintance is a better descriptor.

Stay tuned for more from Vashtorr…
